Ride Like The Wind

Ta’Illistim, the Nations

Dear Mother and Father,

I have traveled to Ta’Illistim to find some much-needed quiet and work on finishing some music. I would love to see you if you have time to come here while I am this far. I am staying at the Moonglae Inn off of BriarStone Court.

After asking for the blessing of the Lord Ronan at His shrine, I took the journey by dark, walking the road by night, knowing I was protected by His watchful eyes. The stars were so crisp that they practically sang in the night sky as I crossed the high passes. It was utterly breathtaking.

The winds howled through portions of the journey as if they had a will of their own. Their song was eerie and soulful; it was so devastatingly moody that it sparked my imagination with their power. They were like mysterious traveling companions telling me their story in a song that was alluring and moving but yet, in a language unknown to me.

Just as the Lord of the Night promised, it was entirely without incident, but I also traveled with the magic protection around me from some of my favorite friends. By the time I reached the city, and passed the Sapphire Gate, I was in high spirits.

Even by only the light of the stars, and what lamps light the streets and windows at night, this is still the Shining City. It is so strikingly beautiful. I can hardly wait to see the sun rise here.

Come, please? I know it is sudden, but I miss you.

All my love,
